One of Those Days

Yesterday was one of those days....where we didn't do anything in particular, but it was perfect.

I started the morning by sleeping in, Kyle reminded me that it has been a few weeks since he had the pleasure of both boys in the morning.  I took this as an invitation to sleep past my usual 7 am.  Afterwards we loaded up the boys and went for a nice and windy drive.  Kyle then preceeded to take Liam out to the airport to work on the plane, I am not sure he accomplished much.  Meanwhile I was given the opportunity to spend some much needed alone time with Ollie.  We actually fell asleep together on the couch while watching Desperate Housewives reruns.  After dinner all five of us (including Shilo) played on the floor.  We ended the night watching a movie and knitting Liam a new hat.

It was a moment I wanted to freeze in time!

Valentine's Day cupcakes that I made for our friends in Meeker and Kyle!

My attempt at menu planning:  I think this system might actually work for me.

Beautiful...Finally

Oliver has an absolutely adorable smile.  It is his whole face (which thanks to lots of yummy milk is very large, mostly in the form of cheeks) from the softest hairs on his head to the tip of his chin.  The problem for the past 3 weeks is that I can never take a picture of it, well here it finally is.

I had to include this picture because he is so stinkin' cute!

My other smiler!
He is smiling because mom forgot to but the dog food and water up so while she was busy with Ollie, Liam got to play!

That's What Little Boys Are Made Of

These two little boys have been so much fun the past 8 weeks.  Even though Ollie is still in the "planted pot" stage the interactions between him and Liam have been priceless.

Here are a few things I know about these boys so far:
1.  Liam can make Ollie smile and laugh better than anyone else.  Liam is not doing anything in particular that is funny, Ollie therefore must know that he's gonna be a lot of fun in the future.
2.  Liam and Ollie will be good friends.  Liam is in the stage where he just can't sit still for more than 30 seconds.  However whenever I have him and Ollie sit together Liam is immediately calm and willing to sit with his little brother.
3. They are both are a little bit ornery.  I am slowly trying to prepare for the mischief these two will cause.  Luckily Kyle is a seasoned expert in all things ornery and mischief.

And Just Because.....
