BBQ at the River

A late summer (it makes me sad to say that) BBQ along the river was a perfect opportunity to experiment photographing kids, babies, sunsets, and friends.  However the real fun of taking photographs came this afternoon when I got to look at them and play in Photoshop.

Thank you to my great family and friends for a wonderful birthday weekend!

Forever in Blue Jeans

I have decided that if I could have any job in the world I would want to be a baby photographer, until this dream comes true I will just settle for being the offical photographer for my baby (if only he could pay with money rather than droll).

Back to the point, in my head this was a very cute picture....Liam in jeans with no shirt standing with the help of his Daddy in jeans.  Well I think they turned out pretty darn cute and Kyle is happy to know that he really never appears, but is more of a back drop. So after playing with the pictures in Photoshop this is what I have come up with.

And for the title of this post well somehow this song got into my head. I know there are some devoted Neil Diamond fans signing along, as for the rest of you, I believe everyone is a secret fan so when no one is watching go ahead a sing too.

As long as I can have you here with me I would much rather be forever in blue jeans.

Mountains are Meant to be Climbed

A few weeks ago while a friend and I enjoyed people watching, browsing expensive art, and drinking cocktails at noon what did Kyle do...climb Mount Sopris.  We are happy to report the younger children survived the hike and were well rewarded by treats from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Please note Liam did not make the trek, it would have been a very long crawl for him.
